Aussie Curves - Fears Exposed

Fear is a strong word. I can't say there is really anything I fear much in regards to fashion unless there is a dress made of live spiders! *shivers*
So instead for this weeks challenge I decided to push myself out of my comfort zone and wear a crop top showing my midriff.
When I got no reactions or comments the first whole day I wore my crop at work I decided to wear another crop for the second day and still got nothing! Not even a "she's too fat to wear that" glare when I went into Maccas to get a coffee!

All these years I've avoided showing my stomach for no reason... I guess it shows that we all can achieve way more and grow if we just step out of our comfort zone for a little while. I did and I'm still alive and kicking. What's to fear now?!?

    1. Yep I totally agree! A plus size woman wearing a crop should get no different reaction than would a skinny or average sized woman.

    1. Why thankyou Yvonne! I did feel like I rocked it! I think they key is making sure the bottoms you wear arent too tight or too loose.

  6. I love this post, and love that you didn't just face a fear - you smashed it!

Come to think of it, I think op shopping is actually a little fashion fear of mine. Apart from going to look for pieces for costumes and dress up parties - the only time I've ever been serious 'fashion' op shopping, I was unable to find anything that fit me and was shit on by a pigeon. Not the best experience :s

    1. Thanks Jo
Thats a bit annoying about your opshopping experience! Pigeon poo?? Lol we have pigeons that live in the steeple of the building we are in but they can't poo on clothing that is inside! How frustrating!
However don't let that put you off forever! Op shopping takes time and for me its that thrill that you don't kniw if you're gonna find nothing or heaps if good stuff! Like the time I found a real loius vitton clutch for $10!!!! Just saying! You never know...,
