Aussie Curves 3.0 - Picnic

All week I've been planning for my Picnic photos. I had it all set in my mind to do on Saturday out in our side garden thats beautiful and green at the moment. I had the rug, beach chair, cute bottles and straws all ready for it.
Come Friday night it poured and poured down rain.

So Plan B.
I took some outfit photos undercover and had the picnic inside with my Godson. It was just as good however not easy to get photos when the 18month old won't sit still or let you use your mobile without his 'assistance'! So i'm glad I took outfit photos before hand!

Aussie Curves 3.0 - Handbag

This Filippo Raphael bag is my fave handbag ever! I bought it for $5 from an op shop years ago!
It was cheap for [what I assume is] leather because the red silky/satin lining was stained with ink in the inside. This did not bother me at all because it cant even be seen with your stuff in it.

Its quite a heavy bag being a bit over a kilo, or around 3 kilos with my bare essentials in it (I carry 3 huge sets of keys for work) but it is all worth it!

The bag strap recently started to unthread where it has sat on my shoulder however that was easy to replace with another black bag strap. The newer strap is slightly shinier but you can hardly tell!

I love this bag so much because it is cool! Its kinda punk rock chick but not to over the top and still can look quite chic worn the right way.

And it's been my favourite bag for sometime now according to the following photo from Instagram 88weeks ago.

Dress Ups: Gatsby/The Roaring 20's

In all honesty what girl doesn't love playing dress ups?!? Of course once you have the costume bit sorted that is!!

Last night a friend had her 21st birthday party themed 'The Great Gatsby' from the roaring 20's. I organised my outfit and my Mums outfit with limited funds and we had a ball!

The event was held at The Shamrock Hotel in Bendigo which was a perfect location. The decor was very era appropriate; diamonds littered tabletops and feathers shot out of flower displays. It really felt like it could've been the 20's!
The balcony was gorgeous, unfortunately a bit cold for most however my neck fur kept me quite warm so I made the most of the beautiful view when I could.

The outfits I put together were quite easy once I knew what I was looking for and it was definitely the accessories that made the outfit. Most of the stuff I already had! The outfits at the party were quite diverse too! I was very impressed. Penguin suits, flappers, a Dick Van Dyke (from Mary Poppins) look a like, glamorous divas, Madaàms etc
