Aussie Curves - Pattern Clash

Pattern clashing makes me cringe. It is not a challenge I've been looking forward to cause it is just that, a challenge!
Whatever outfit I post for Aussie Curves challenges I like to be an outfit that I would or have worn in public and I really struggle doing that with pattern clash outfits.
So for this challenge I decided to do an outfit I wore to work that had a subtle pattern clash and another that I probably wouldn't wear in public because its very.... very... um clashing?!? Canyou guess which is which? Pretty obvious!
I wore:
City Chic stripe dress - bought off a gorgeous Curvette on Instagram for $25
Novo boots - $50
Black lace cardi - op shopped for $3
Black & white kimono - op shopped for $7
What do you think of my outfits? Would you wear either of them in public?

  2. Both these looks are awesome. I think things like the black lace cardi are so versatile to wear with pretty much everything that every existed! :D :D and I'm digging those boots too!

  5. Absolutely. But then, like I said on Instagram, I'm totally head over heels in love with a pattern clash, the more the better.

  6. I think they both work really nicely, but as a fellow pattern-clash newbie (ie. avoider), I do really like the more subtle ensemble. Nice work, sister! :)
