Aussie Curves 3.0 - Denim

The third year for Aussie Curves challenges, with so many new faces, how exciting! 

It doesn't feel like too long ago we did denim, about 2 and a half months ago so I really had to think about this challenge. 
Last time I did Denim I wore this ⤵️
I had every intention of using a dark denim skirt I have for this challenge but the outfits I tried to use it in didn't feel right. 
In the last couple of weeks I've had a few huge things happen to me involving my car getting ritten off and being told a loved one is dying. Since then I've struggled getting dressed up everyday like I usually do... So I just started casual and am very happy with the results.
I decided to go with this casual mens denim shirt by 'Stray'. There is no chance  I would ever get this shirt closed (see below photo) but that has never been my intention, I actually really like it like this. What are your thoughts?
I'm wearing:
* Mens denim shirt by Stray - opshopped $4.50
* Striped singlet by City Chic - opshopped $4
* Long sleeve black top by Lilia - opshopped $4
* Black jeans by Kmart - opshopped $4.50 I think
* Nude/tan wedges by Wittner - opshopped for 50c apparently... Can't be right but thats what I have written down?..go me!!
* Necklace - opshopped $3
