Aussie Curves - Leather

I've been looking forward to this challenge for a while! For three months specifically! That's when I found this super dope City Chic 'leather look' jacket in an op shop for $20!!! Unfortunately it's a size small and I'm a medium or large but that only stops me from zipping it up, something I rarely do anyways!
One thing about me wearing this jacket is that it could make me look a bit butch so I've decided it needs to be worn with pretty or girly clothing.

Outfit 1 - my fave!
Leather jacket - opshopped $20
Pink Peplum - Autograph $10
Black skirt - opshopped $2.50
Boots - opshopped $4
Necklace - opshopped
* allI need to make this outfit complete is some nude coloured tights!! Its way to cold to show leg atm plus they are hairy mascary, stockings are too thin and black would completely change the look of this outfit... My problem is I can't find none!

Outfit 2
Leather jacket - opshopped $20
Purple hi-lo City Chic dress - eBay $20
Belt - opshopped $2
Black leggings - Kmart $7
Boots - opshopped $4
Scarf $1.50

Which outfit do you like best?
That's it from me till next week! In the meantime check out the other Curvettes rocking leather and pleather below!

Spin the Pin - May '15

Jo from iCurvy has started a new photo challenge called 'Spin the Pin'.
Each month Jo will release a photo from Pinterest that will be used to draw inspiration from to create your own outfit.

This is the pin for the month of May. When I looked at this pin I first saw her bag and hat, followed by the dark stockings that stood out from the rest of the neutral palette.

I'm not entirely sure how to explain how this pin inspired my outfit but I'll give it a go.

I decided to use the beige colour from this pin but discovered I don't really own much beige. So I used beige for my tights and in the skirt.

The skirt had a long belt with it that didn't sit right for me anywhere so I decided to use it on my head. I was really pleased I did that as it kept the outfit closer to the original pin as there was something on my head; and cause I think it looks really cool!!

Half way through the day I switched into my nude wedges and I must admit I prefer them with this outfit either than the blue boots.

And to complete the outfit I added my bronze clutch which happens to be my fave clutch at the moment as it's a decent size, awesome colour and easy to carry.

Outfit details:
• Skirt || Regatta || $2 half price sale

• Navy top || Expression || Opshopped for $2
